Our materials – quality that fits

Material diversity for individual plastic solutions

For the production of our plastic tubes, plastic profiles, and plastic rods, we rely on a carefully selected range of engineering thermoplastics characterized by their proven quality, processability, and durability. Each material offers specific advantages – be it high transparency, exceptional impact strength, thermal resilience, or chemical resistance. In close cooperation with our customers, we select the right material precisely based on the area of application, product function, optical requirements, and technical loads. In doing so, we consider not only mechanical properties but also aspects such as environmental conditions, regulatory requirements, and design specifications. Thanks to our many years of experience in plastics extrusion, we can also make functional modifications upon request – for example, to increase impact strength, UV resistance, food compatibility, or to meet special requirements in the medical technology, electronics, or packaging industries.

Standard plastics & their properties

  • Hart-PVC (Polyvinylchlorid, hart)

    • High mechanical strength and rigidity
    • Good chemical resistance
    • Flame-retardant (self-extinguishing after flame removal)
    • Very good bonding
    • Dimensional stability up to approx. 60 °C
    • On request, conditionally suitable for outdoor use
  • Polystyrol (PS)

    • Available in impact-resistant version
    • High impact resistance
    • Natural or dyed (not transparent)
    • Slightly softer surface, more scratch-sensitive than rigid PVC
    • Good bonding and painting properties
    • Dimensional stability up to approx. 50 °C
  • PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)

    • Highly transparent and environmentally friendly plastic
    • Very good chemical resistance
    • Gamma sterilizable – ideal for medicine and packaging
    • Dimensional stability up to approx. 60 °C
  • Polycarbonate (PC)

    • Very high impact resistance and strength
    • High transparency and glossy surface
    • Dimensional stability up to approx. 115 °C
    • Conditionally chemical-resistant
    • Available with UV protection
    • Susceptible to stress cracking
  • Celluloseacetatbutyrat (CAB)

    • High surface gloss and good scratch resistance
    • Very good optical properties
    • Dimensional stability up to approx. 60 °C
  • Sustainable plastic

Sustainability is our priority, which is why we have expanded our raw material portfolio in recent years and, in addition to our standard materials, now also offer:

    • Chemically recycled PET
    • Rigid PVC made from 35% recycled material
    • Biopolymer-based plastic (approx. 75% renewable raw materials)

Modifications & additional options

The properties of our plastics can be customized on request – e.g., for specific industry requirements or environmental conditions:

  • BGA / food approval
  • Saliva resistance (e.g. for toys or dental products)
  • Increased impact strength
  • UV stabilization / weather resistance
  • Antistatic or conductive modifications on request

Colors & finishes

Depending on the material, we offer our products in the following variants:

  • Natural colors / opaque
  • Transparent / crystal clear (e.g. PETG, PC)
  • Colored according to RAL or color sample

The choice of material influences not only the appearance and feel, but also its function, processability, and durability. We would be happy to advise you on the optimal solution for your application.
